Ray Ainsworth is “The Man Horses Talk To®”. His sincere goal is to make the world a better place for horses and their humans through communication. From a young age, Ray Ainsworth has studied the language of horses. As a winning jockey, train Ray does not train horses; he teaches them in a way that makes him one of the world’s most unique horse teachers. He has found that through communication and non-violence, horses learn faster and retain the information longer. Ray’s approach is based on the fact that horses have a language and are capable of communicating a wide variety of messages. All horses know it. So does Ray. And so can you. Ray travels the United States giving entertaining and informative clinics to horse lovers. In addition to his series of teaching DVDs, Ray has a weekly half-hour television show on the RFD-TV channel that airs each Monday at 4:30 p.m. CST. Through all of these avenues, Ray teaches all types of horses how to behave the right way with a maximum of understanding and a minimum of stress to the horse. Ray works with young foals, old mares, abused horses, trailer-shy horses, as well as horses who will not allow their feet and ears to be handled and every horse in between. Along the way, viewers learn horse language themselves and are able to apply this knowledge to their own dealings with these amazing animals. Ray was born and raised in Raymond, Mississippi and has spent the last fifteen years in Flora, Mississippi. He recently built a state-of-the-art 20,000 square foot barn in Flora that includes a 60’ x 132’ foot covered lighted arena. Ray’s love for what he does and his calling to communicate with these amazing animals has him making plans for expansion of the facility in the near future.
